The Business That God Gives

Pastor Conner continues preaching from the book of Ecclesiastes, continuing in chapter three. In this chapter the preacher reflects on work, beauty, and the character of God. Pastor Conner describes that all creation is bound to sin, however, the gospel can free us from being trapped by sin. Conner summarizes Ecclesiastes 3:11 by saying that while God has put the idea of eternity into man's heart, it is not a saving understanding but rather the ability to discern that there is a God. Finally, this chapter is pointing believers to act in a Holy fear towards God because He is perfect and we are not.
