Declaring the Gospel to the nations, what we call "missions", was built into God's plan for His creation from the beginning. The scriptures make this clear, from God's mandate to Abraham to leave his land and people and go to a new land, to Jesus stating "The Great Commission", to Paul's zeal to bring the good news to new lands, God intends that all peoples will hear and respond to His Gospel. This Higher Ed class will walk through the biblical support for missions, and will summarize the 2000 year expansion of the church worldwide. We will also describe how New Life participates in this endeavor.
