I can’t believe the Reformation Conference is this next Friday and Saturday! Dr. Chapell is a gracious and humble teacher who happens to be a pastor, scholar, and church leader who is respected around the world. His book, Christ-Centered Preaching has helped to train pastors for their preaching ministry for nearly 30 years. In a generation when our own denomination, the PCA, could have easily disintegrated under the pressures of how to respond to the numerous cultural challenges, Dr. Chapell has graciously and firmly brought unity, hope, and healing. You won’t want to miss these THREE opportunities to sit under his life-giving ministry, especially on a topic so central to our life as a church family––WORSHIP!! Don’t wait to hear him preach to us in morning worship next week and then be sad you missed it. I don’t want you to be sad!

God is really blessing our efforts to grow this Reformation Conference teaching opportunity for you and our community. We are already looking forward to next year, when we’ll hear from Greg Beale, a top-tier New Testament scholar and OPC minister. (Just google G.K. Beale…)

On top of that… this week there is so much going on that you’ll want to pray for, participate in, and invite your friends and neighbors: a new quarter of Higher ED (as we continue to ask the Lord to bring more of you to fellowship together around the meat of God’s Word), the THANKSGIVING FEAST (one of MY favorite nights of the year), praying for missions, ministry, and our church family…
