The Old Testament is a Christian book. The two greatest theological problems with 2nd half of the Old Testament (1000 BC to after exile), actually come from 2 promises that stem from 2 Samuel 7:1-17
- Vs 1-3; David expresses his desire to build a temple for God
- Vs 4-7: God responds to David’s desire
- Vs 8-17: The Lord makes a promise to David
