Call to Worship Colossians 3:1-4
Leader: If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is,
seated at the right hand of God.
People: Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
Leader: For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
People: When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Prayer of Adoration, Assistance, & Blessing
Trinity Hymnal #310 “Rejoice, the Lord Is King”
Rejoice, the Lord is King:
your Lord and King adore!
Rejoice, give thanks, and sing,
and triumph evermore.
Refrain:
Lift up your heart, lift up your voice!
Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!
Jesus the Savior reigns,
the God of truth and love;
when he had purged our stains,
he took his seat above. [Refrain]
His kingdom cannot fail,
he rules o'er earth and heav'n;
the keys of death and hell
are to our Jesus giv'n. [Refrain]
He sits at God's right hand
till all his foes submit,
and bow to his command,
and fall beneath his feet. [Refrain]
Rejoice in glorious hope!
Our Lord, the Judge, shall come,
and take his servants up
to their eternal home. [Refrain]
Reflection on the Law
Leader: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
People: This is the great and first commandment. (Matt 22: 37-38)
Leader: God spoke all these words, saying, “I am the Lord your God. You shall have no other gods before me.”
People: For although there may be so-called “gods” in heaven or on earth… yet for us there is one God. (1Cor 8:5-6)
Leader: You shall not make for yourself an idol.
People: What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God. (2Cor 6:16)
Leader: You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
People: Let your “yes” be yes and “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation. (Jam 5:12)
Leader: Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
People: There remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his. (Heb 4:9-10)

Trinity Hymnal #537 “Take Time to Be Holy”
Take time to be holy, speak oft with thy Lord;
abide in him always, and feed on his Word.
Make friends of God's children; help those who are weak;
forgetting in nothing his blessing to seek.
Take time to be holy, the world rushes on;
spend much time in secret with Jesus alone.
By looking to Jesus, like him thou shalt be;
thy friends in thy conduct his likeness shall see.
Take time to be holy, let him be thy guide,
and run not before him, whatever betide;
in joy or in sorrow, still follow thy Lord,
and, looking to Jesus, still trust in his Word.
Take time to be holy, be calm in thy soul;
each thought and each motive beneath his control;
thus led by his Spirit to fountains of love,
thou soon shalt be fitted for service above.
Prayer of the Church Pastor M. Connor Underseth
Psalm 117 “O All You Nations of the Earth”
O all you nations of the earth,
Give praises to the LORD.
O all you peoples magnify
His name with one accord.
Because His love for us is strong –
His lovingkindnesses.
The LORD is faithful evermore;
Praise to the LORD express

Prayer of Application and the Lord’s Prayer
Trinity Hymnal #430 “I Hunger and I Thirst”
I hunger and I thirst;
Jesus, my manna be:
ye living waters, burst
out of the rock for me.
Thou bruised and broken Bread,
my life-long needs supply;
as living souls are fed,
O feed me, or I die!
Thou true life-giving Vine,
let me thy sweetness prove;
renew my life with thine,
refresh my soul with love.
Rough paths my feet have trod,
since first their course began;
feed me, thou Bread of God;
help me, thou Son of Man.
For still the desert lies
my thirsting soul before;
O living waters, rise
within me evermore.

Song “Across the Lands”
You're the Word of God the Father
From before the world began;
Ev'ry star and ev'ry planet
Has been fashioned by Your hand.
All creation holds together
By the power of Your voice,
Let the skies declare Your glory
Let the land and seas rejoice,
Chorus: You're the author of creation,
You're the Lord of ev'ry man,
And Your cry of love rings out Across the lands.
Yet You left the gaze of angels,
Came to seek and save the lost
And exchanged the joy of heaven
For the anguish of a cross.
With a prayer You fed the hungry.
With a word You stilled the sea;
Yet how silently You suffered;
That the guilty may go free. [Chorus]
With a shout You rose victorious
Wresting victory from the grave,
And ascended into heaven
Leading captives in Your way.
Now You stand before the Father,
Interceding for Your own;
From each tribe and tongue and nation
You are leading sinners home. [Chorus]
